beautiful architecture, peaceful outdoor spaces, proximity to grocery store
Hot water issues during stay!!! Maintenance needed for hair dryer!!! Would love more attention to cleaning and basic room amenities!!! Basic room setup feels overpriced considering local economy!!!

The ambiance at Boutique Castillo Ines Maria truly captured the essence of Cartagena. The location allowed for easy access to the historic center within a short walking distance. Each morning, breakfast featured a delightful array of fresh juices and local dishes, served in a cozy courtyard. I loved the staff's attention to detail, especially Marisimo's warm welcome, making me feel at home. The beautiful architecture and nicely decorated rooms added to the charm. However, I faced a challenge with inconsistent hot water in the shower. This disrupted what could have been a truly perfect stay. Despite this, the peaceful vibe and kindness of the staff made the experience worthwhile.

Couple’s Quiet Retreat
The staff was amazing really went above and beyond for us. We loved that the hotel had this quiet little kitchen we could use to whip up some snacks which was unexpected but welcome. The hammocks were a perfect spot to relax and the pool at night was beautifully lit, made the whole experience magical.
It wasn’t exactly a bargain but considering the service and experience it felt acceptable.

We had an amazing time at this beautiful hotel! The staff were genuinely friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay special. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, and we loved relaxing by the pool area. It's just a short 10-minute walk to the historic sites, like the city walls and Castillo San Felipe. Also, don't miss out on exploring local shops nearby for unique souvenirs.
One downside was that I noticed they charged for bottled water in the refrigerator, which isn't common in other hotels I've stayed at. It would be nice if that was complimentary, like in most places.
